Fancy Yellow

on Tue, 09/02/2014 - 00:00

This is a fancy yellow oval diamond, set with over 100 smaller diamonds and accented on either side with a pair of matching colorless oval diamonds. The yellow color you see is all natural. It's more rare today to see a natural fancy yellow than a colorless diamond or even a white diamond. What used to be called "Canary Diamond" now has official classifications of Fancy yellow given to it by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) so that you know if you have a GIA colored diamond grading report, the color is natural, and hasn't been enhanced by man made methods. The fancy yellow diamond seen here is a beautiful rare gem.
